Dylan is a writer and director based in Los Angeles, California. He was born and raised in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and lived in Austin, Texas for many years, producing and directing documentary concert films and live concert broadcasts.

He’s a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film & Television with a Master of Fine Arts in Writing for the Screen, Class of 2022.

Born from the ocean in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Dylan’s Huck Finn-esque childhood, spent exploring salt marshes and contemplating absurd southern culture, inspired a love for eccentric characters with a comic sense of adventure. After college at the University of Virginia, this love led Dylan down the rock n’ roll road to Austin, Texas where he made a good livin’ filming live concerts. But after six years on stage, Dylan knew that for his comedic voice to shine— for his true love of idiosyncrasy, madness, and whimsey to explode across the sky— he had to set out on the long and winding madcap comedy writer’s road.
